Wiley Hill Mudworks Pottery
From Paul Haigh of Wiley Hill:
I am fascinated by the story that crafts tell. Old American and Japanese pottery display clues about methods, materials, and sometimes the actual fingerprints of artisans long past. All of my work is hand made and wood fired in a kiln of my own design and construction. The heat of the kiln is so intense that ash from the fire melts onto the pots, creating a warm natural effect. I want the organic variation and shadows from the firing to connect the viewer to the process. All work is food, dishwasher, and microwave safe.
